Allergic reaction to coconut oil
Different people may occur allergic reaction to coconut in the use of products containing coconut or coconut oil gets on the skin, such a reaction can cause a number of unpleasant symptoms.
Signs of skin reactions often occur in the form of swelling, itching and rashes or even blisters. Some may have respiratory symptoms, including nasal congestion, cough or shortness of breath. Others may have problems with the digestive system, including abdominal pain, nausea and diarrhea. In very rare cases, severe reaction may be accompanied by swelling of the mouth and throat, difficulty breathing, and anaphylactic shock.
Skin problems are often symptoms of allergic reactions to coconut, and can be the result of contact with or use of lotions, creams or shampoos containing coconut oil.
